Birth Announcement

This is a birth announcement that I made for my friend's baby boy. It has the fabric that is in the nursery set that she made. I hope she likes it. I guess we'll find out at the baby shower on Tuesday.

Church Clothes

I have seen these cute onesies a number of places, but I was never willing to pay what was being asked, so I decided to make my own. I love them! I have one more that I need to make to match some orange and navy plaid short that I just bought my son. He is becoming so active and puts everything in his mouth, I wanted something quick and easy for him to wear to church that he couldn't destroy!

I've been working

on lots of projects... This weekend I made some pacifier clips for my son and for a baby shower that is coming up. I had been wanting to make some for a long time, but didn't know how to go about it until I found the instructions here. I love the button idea.


These clips are for the two gals at work that are having baby girls. They each get two.


Some of these clips are for my son, and some are for the two gals at work that had baby boys. The shower is coming up on the 28th. I hope they like them and find them useful.

I don't know what I do without mine...my boy is entertained by the ribbon and keeps him from fussing when he is in the car or at church.

Hooded bath towels

My little boy has outgrown is baby hooded towels, so I'm making him new ones. I can't wait to get them all finished. Here is one of the three I've done with one on the machine in progress. I'll take pics when all three are done. I can't wait to have bigger towels for him so he's not so cold after a bath.

My baby's brag book

I started my baby's brag book of his firsts. This is the title page. The picture is poor because I didn't use a flash because I got a glare. I can't wait to finish the book. It is a 6 x 6 album.

3 by 6 card

This is a card I made for my friend's birthday. I think it turned out cute. I like that it fits in a regular sized envelope so I don't have to buy invitation envelopes.

Blessing Blanket

I made this receiving blanket for my son's baby blessing. It was a 42" x 42" blanket. I made it so that he would have a keepsake to remember this special day.

Pictures on a ribbon

I needed something to hang in my son's bathroom. While at Wal-mart this morning buying Twilight, I spotted this cute ribbon. I thought it would be fun to hang pictures of him taking baths in his bathroom. I need to replace the pictures with my desired ones--I just need to get some printed. I got some acrylic frames that had magnets on the back. I pulled the magnets off and glued the frames to the ribbon. I really like how it turned out. Now I just need to get those tubby pictures in there instead of hospital pictures.

Curtains

It get super hot in my son's room, so I made curtains to help keep out the heat as well as darken the room for naps. I made one big panel, but I'm thinking of making another one so there are two on the window. I'll leave it like this for now and decide later.


This is the curtain tied up. I will not tie it up often. I will just slide the sides to the middle when I want light in the room.

I like the buttons. I think they added a nice finishing touch. Thanks Jen for the idea.

I like the curtain closed.

Mini Family Card

This is a 3"x3" card that I made for my family (I made 4 cards in all). I had just had pictures of my little boy taken and wanted to include a card with the picture. I'm really liking the idea of mini-cards because I'm not good at writing long messages.
