Want

http://sewmuchado.blogspot.com/2009/02/card-table-playhouse-tutorialette.html

I want to make one. I plan to. I even purchased fabric today. Now I just need time!

*****I have designed the one for my son. The front will have a sign saying "hide out" and a slot for secret messages. One side will have a campfire. One side will have a pine tree with pine cones. The back will have an secret escape hatch hidden behind a tree. I can't wait to get started!

Need ideas on childproofing

My son LOVES to empty the bookshelves. He can only reach the bottom two shelves right now. I have moved things that I don't care if he plays with to the bottom shelves, but I'm tired of picking up endless dvd piles. Any ideas on child proofing the bottom two shelves? I want it to look good and still allow me to access the shelves. Help!

Classroom pet

The fish, named Pythagoras, now lives on the filing cabinet in the back of my classroom. He will be an ongoing project--I have to keep him alive. I'm excited to have a classroom pet and my students think that he is pretty cool. I love the fact that I found an ORANGE betta. I have never seen on that vivid of an orange.

Halloween Table Runner

I made this Halloween table runner yesterday. It is the first table runner I have ever made, so I had no clue what I was doing. I think it turned out well all things considered. And it only took me an hour from start to finish! Now I just need to go pick more pumpkins from my garden to decorate with!

Mini Sesame Street Cards

At card club a few months ago we made these darling Sesame Street cards.

I love them so much that I decided to see if I could make them in mini form. I love the way the mini cards turned out. I was able to use punches that I had on hand. When I showed them to my husband, he even knew who they were supposed to be! Thanks Jen for the original card idea!
